Work as Production Executive @ GSK

Job Description:Preferred: Graduates from premium Dairy/ Food Tenology Institutes/ B. Tech(Chemical). TELUGU SPEAKING (MINIMUM FLUENCY REQUIRED)- RAJAHMUNDRY, ANDHRA PRADESH
Purpose: To execute the manufacturing process under the guidance of Shift manager order to achieve the targeted volumes and yield of food powders, using optimum resources and complying QMS & EHS standards.
Area of Responsibility: Responsible for manufacturing operations of nutritional healthcare products viz. Horlicks, and its variants and by-product ghee. Rajahmundry site manufactures approximately 31 KT of food powders and approx. 300 tons of Ghee (GOPIKA BRAND per annum.The job holder guides the production team for efficient operations, for maintaining good working environment & to ensure prevailing of cordial industrial relations.
Expected Delivery: To ensure execution of plans to ensure the agreed Volumes of Horlicks and different variants a remanufactured as per the CSS and F-2 PlansTo ensure the QMS and EHS Systems are implemented during the manufacturing operations.Handling process problems created due to internal Quality of raw materials etc To plan production and manage variations as per the Customer Orders.

Managerial Responsibility:
To plan and monitor the manufacturing operations of Horlicks and its variants to meet targeted production plans of CSS.To plan the production operations to achieve optimum utilization of people, machines and materials.To inculcate OE philosophy among the staff and review the same.To maintain standard process parameters , quality specifications , G M P & hygiene norms to produce product which meets the customer requirements right first time.To implement and monitor GSK QMS Policies ,Food Safety Management Systems , ISO 9001:2000 quality systems through quality compliance, self audits & by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices to sustain QMS IP/IU scores.To maintain cordial working relationships within the department and with other departments to achieve the desired result.To follow EHS guidelines and provide safe working conditions in processing areas to ensure safety of plant and people To closely monitor manufacturing processes to ensure effluent minimization and wastage reduction in day to day process activities.To guide the manufacturing team on GSK initiatives , improvement themes and inculcate GSK Culture for continuous improvement. Coach and develop staff to equip them with essential skills to achieve the individual and functional goals.- To Conduct GMP/EHS Trainings to workmenParticipate in management – union negotiations at the time of agreements and ensure smooth industrial relations at all times.Involve & Support constructively in the technical changes proposed by other departmentsSupport the VF/5S/Hygiene audits for improving the scoresInitiate and implement plans for minimizing the wastages at different stages of Manufacturing.To prepare new SOPs for new equipment/processes into the plant.To support and involve and make successful for NPI at the site.

Qualification & ExperienceThe incumbent must be a graduate / post graduate in Dairy Technology / food technologyPreferred – The incumbent must be having 3-4 years experience in dairy/food industry
KnowledgeKnowledge of GSK policies and proceduresKnowledge of applicable SOPs, GQPs, GQMPs.
Technical Skills Analytical skills.Proficient in using MS Office.
